Vigna Birds

The Italian artist and jewellery designer, Giogio Vigna is fascinated by the tension of opposites: reality and imagination, shape and material. A very versatile artist, Vigna has designed jewellery for operas and films, and unique pieces and a jewellery collection for the Venini glassworks in Venice. It was to Venice and Murano, and the finishing and blowing techniques developed there, that Vigna turned when he created his elegant and highly distinctive glass birds for Iittala.
