Aynsley China was founded in 1775 by John Aynsley in Lane End, Staffordshire, and in 1861, his grandson John Aynsley change Aynsley China’s focus from pottery to fine bone china and built the historic Portland Works factory, which today is one of the last remaining manufacturers of fine bone china in Stoke-on-Trent. Aynsley China’s unique designs quickly became popular and the company began to gain a high reputation in Britain, most notably when they were commissioned by Queen Victoria to produce a set of ornate tableware for her personal use. Aynsley China sill produce classic patterns such as Orchard Gold (which was first created in the 1920’s!) although they have also branched out and now manufacture a number of ‘casual’ tableware ranges, including the popular Daisy Chain pattern. Aynsley China have ensured these ranges are manufactured to the same quality as their classic tableware lines, however they are microwave and dishwasher safe, making them perfect for everyday use. China Chaps now sell all of the current Aynsley China tableware ranges in our Snodland store. China Chaps holds very high levels of stock for the Aynsley China casual range, all at the very best prices to be found online.
