Villeroy and Boch is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of ceramics. Starting in 1748 in the small French village of Audun Le Tiche (the fine dining range called Audun Ferme and Audun Chasse have been named in celebration of these roots) by Francois Boch, the company merged in 1836 with Nicolas Villeroy’s porcelain company and was thus called Villeroy and Boch. Ever since, the company has continued to grow and today Villeroy and Boch have porcelain factories in France, Luxembourg and Germany. As the company has expanded Villeroy and Boch have increased their product range and now manufacture glassware, cutlery and giftware alongside their tableware lines. China Chaps now sell all of the current Villeroy and Boch tableware ranges both in our Snodland store and on our online shop.
