Alex Clark began her career after receiving a degree in the Biology of Plants and Animals from Newcastle University in 1996. Inspired by her studies and the natural surroundings of Weardale, County Durham, Alex Clark began exhibiting her unique illustrations of farmyard animals and family pets in galleries around the U.K.

Alex Clark’s distinctive style and uplifting scenes make her range of greetings cards and gifts one of the most popular in the U.K., and now Alex Clark has launched a selection of themed mug ranges under premium brand Queens. The Alex Clark Mug ranges include Cats, Dogs, Ponies and the Farmyard Collection and Kitchen Scenes Collection which now also have accompanying ranges of textiles including an Apron, Pair of Tea Towels, and a Tea Cosy.
