Statutory Rights

Nothing in these business terms takes away any of your statutory rights. All terms and conditions are governed by English Law.

 

 

Damaged Goods

China Chaps take a great deal of care to ensure that all products are packed properly to ensure that they are not damaged. It is extremely unusual for any of our goods to arrive in anything other than perfect condition but if you do experience any problems please contact us within fourteen working days and we will replace any damaged item free of charge. We may need the damaged goods returned to us or may ask for a  photograph to be taken, it is therefore important that you keep the item concerned together with all packaging, until we tell you otherwise.  If we require the goods to be returned we will either arrange collection or refund all return postage costs.  It is your responsibility to ensure that returned goods are properly packaged.

 

 

Product Guarantee

All products should be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. The product warranties offered are those of the manufacturers and China Chaps offer no further warranty. We want our customers to be delighted with our products – if you have any concerns please contact us immediately.

 

 

Returns

We hope that you are delighted with the goods that you have ordered, if however any items supplied by us do not suit your needs and they were not a special order, you may return them provided that you advise us in writing within fourteen days of delivery and then return the goods in perfect condition. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the goods are returned to us in perfect condition and to pay for the return delivery costs.  If you have any concerns please feel free to contact us - we want happy customers and will always try to help you.

 

 

Pricing and Delivery

All prices and delivery dates are given in good faith but are subject to availability. We take care to ensure that the prices and details that we show on our website are correct, however reserve the right to refuse an order or correct details given, but will always give you the opportunity to cancel an order if we change anything important. Where items are not in stock we will advise you of an estimated delivery date but as the information we receive from suppliers is not always accurate we will not be held responsible for the accuracy of delivery dates provided.

 

 

Delivery Address

The customer is responsible for supplying a full and correct delivery address. Our couriers will supply reasonable opportunity for re-delivery but if goods are returned to us undelivered through no fault of ours or of our couriers you will be responsible for any re-delivery costs.

 

 

Exports

Where goods are exported the customer is liable for all customs duties, taxes, import levies and other similar costs. Where China Chaps have to pay such costs they will be re-charged to the customer.

 

 

Restricted Goods

In agreeing to our business terms customers are warranting that for knife sales they are over eighteen years of age.
